Let me show you the 3 cards I created. I think they turned out really well. Please leave a comment at the bottom of the post. I love to get feedback.

Card 1:

I am really enjoying making slimline and mini slimline cards these days. It’s fun to change things up a bit and try different sizes of cards. This card is a mini slimline size 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches.
The card panel is cut from Altenew Spicy Yogurt Cardstock  https://shrsl.com/3bzc9
I used the outline stamp to stamp and emboss the image using Altenew Golden Peach Crisp Embossing Powder  https://shrsl.com/3bzbx  I then used the layering stencils to colour the flowers and leaves. I made sure I blended more than 1 shade of each colour to add depth and shading to the images.
I die cut a vellum banner using the Altenew Nesting Slim Labels Die Set  https://shrsl.com/3bzci and stamped and embossed a sentiment from the stamp set using the same Golden Peach embossing powder. A few metallic enamel dots from my stash placed near the focal point in the middle finished off the card nicely.

Card 2:

This was a very quick clean and simple card to put together. I used an A2 base panel and applied Pastel Strokes Washi Tape  https://shrsl.com/3bzcq  slightly to the left side of the panel and tucked the ends behind the panel to ensure the tape would not lift. I then used the outline stamp and permanent black ink to stamp the floral image onto the panel. I then heat embossed the whole image with Altenew Crystal Clear Crisp embossing powder  https://shrsl.com/3bzcx      so that the ink on the slick surface of the washi tape would not smear. I then stamped a sentiment from the stamp set in the kit and added a few gems from my stash.
Card 3:

Another A2 panel was used to emboss the image from the embossing folder provided in the kit to add some interest and texture to the background. I then very lightly blended over the raised areas to enhance the pattern more. A few black splatters of black ink were added to the panel for an artsy feel.

I stamped and embossed the outline floral image using Altenew Antique Silver embossing powder   https://shrsl.com/3bzd1

I then used the layering stencils in the kit to colour in the images. The coordinating die was used to die cut the image. This was then popped up using Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape  https://shrsl.com/3bzd3   The sentiment was chosen from the stamp set, embossed in silver embossing powder and matted onto some silver glitter cardstock.

Thank you so much for looking at my cards. I hope I have enspired you to purchase the kit.

  1. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous cards–the colors of the slimline are so pretty, the rainbow one is cool too. Thanks for the inspiration!
